Are you interested in Ecotherapy? Are you curious about how you could create a healing path for you and your clients with nature?

Then look no further and take a road less travelled with me.  I have been practicing, researching, delivering talks and workshops in the area of Ecotherapy for almost a decade now.

I'm excited to announce the next offering of her popular Ecotherapy workshops. This 3 day workshop will be held in the great outdoors in Co Clare.

This unique workshop will provide theory, practical tips, and time to reflect on your own ecological mindset and relationship with the natural world. It will also provide you with many tools to begin to develop your own Ecotherapy practice including, should you wish, working outdoors with your clients. This promises to be a truly nourishing and growthful experience for you both personally and professionally.

Based in The Glen in the grounds of the Falls Hotel in Ennistymon and at Joanne’s therapy room and garden in Liscannor in Co Clare the CPD workshop will run from Friday morning Sept 22nd to Sunday afternoon Sept 24th and will provide 16.5 hours CPD

Those who may benefit from this CPD include Psychotherapists, Health, Education, Social Work/Care professionals and a variety of others who hope to increase conscious awareness of nature in their work with others.

Sample Participant Feedback

"I found that the experiential element of the course and the evolving group dynamic set amidst the splendor of spring led to a lovely weekend. Joanne facilitated the course brilliantly, was a gracious host and was open to all our questions. I thought the consecutive 3 day format worked really well, created an intimacy and an intensity of emotion at times, almost like a festival weekend, and has left me much to consider. "

"It was such a joy to be a part of this group with everyone involved - Joanne as facilitator, all of the brave and open participants, and the living energies of the environments we have explored. "Living" is a word I took away with me that day and wish to carry with me into my future ecotherapy practice, to remember that the movement of nature creates a constant living presence in our experiences if we let ourselves notice them. That can be highly evocative and awakening for many people."

I really enjoyed the 3 day Ecotherapy workshop. It was a nice blend of experiential work in nature & theory underpinning the approach. I enjoyed hearing your experience Joanne of working outdoors with clients. It was nice to do therapist/client exercise 2days.

"I felt very inspired after the weekend as to how I can incorporate more of this approach into my work.  I liked how you structured the weekend, that at lunchtime or in the evenings we could choose to meet up with people in the group or have some time to ourselves. Ennistymon had so much choice for cafes/restaurants that worked really well.  I found the pace of the weekend really nice, the time flew, it felt like we did lots each day but always felt very relaxed and you brought a fun, easy going attitude each day.
